SPECIFICATION

Case:

V-shape parts are molded of polyester reinforced or aluminium alloy,finished in textrued black.Heavy glass protected front firmly secured against rattles by spring action.

Stem:

To ensure sensitivity,bulb chambers are precision ground aluminum,tapered for a close-tolerance metal-to-metal contact with matching tapered socket.Graphite is used as a conductor between bulb chamber and glass tube

Independent adjustable case loknut and angle adjusting screw provide 360。positioning positioning of case and stem.

The liquid filled of capillary is made of spirit or mercury,and red and green are standard.The reading magnifying lens tube is silicone shock-mounted to increase service life.Guaranteed accurate to within one scale range.

Bold black graduations are printed on white-coated aluminum.No mounting screws obscure sacale.Scale adjusts through locking device at top of instrument.

NOTE

1).　Polyester case should not be subjected to temperatures greater than 400^。F(200℃);
　　All ranges 400^。F(200℃) and higher are furnished in Aluminum Case.

2).　Stem length 3 1/2" and 6" are standard;9" and 12" available.

SCOOP THERMOMETER

These instruments are used to test the temperatures of bulk liquids in storage or transport. While conventional test instruments may be unsuitable due to difficult access these instruments may be lowered into the material and a sample withdrawn to ensure a reliable temperature reading.
